View Article  Is It Too Early To Ask When Pitchers and Catchers Report?
My annual tradition of slogging through the off-season alternately obsessing over and/or trying not to obsess over baseball (or the lack thereof, I suppose), has started early. I'm excited about this post-season -- I really am! --but still I already miss baseball a whole lot. :sigh:    more »

View Article  Game Review Quickie: Yuckees 16, Royals 8. Hughes v. Davies.
I was late to the game and missed A-Rod's homer, and was surprised by how NOT disappointed I was to have missed it. If it were one of the Mets I sure would've cared, but then again I'd also have cared enough to be on time, so there you have that.   more »

View Article  Road Trip Review: Orioles v. Yankees, Sunday, July 28, 2007, Camden Yards! Yuckees 10, Orioles 4. Wang v. Cabrera.
Camden Yards is beautiful, just beautiful. Simple, elegant, and seemingly just about the game, for the sake of the game, and nothing else; a very pure baseball park, I might call it. Sent in too late for the Bottom Line. Poor Casey will never know that I find him hot :sniffle: Poor Casey... Nor will he know my solution for bad sportsmanship in Baseball. :sigh: Poor, poor Casey...   more »
