Keystone Baseball! I turned the sound off for a few minutes on Sunday and it was just like watching one of those silent movies about the incompetent policemen who have all manner of wacky mishaps whilst trying to fight crime. Well, almost just like it, except that this version was not nearly as funny as the originals and had baseball players intead of Kops. more »

It's rather a surprise to remember that we hadn't won 5 in a row yet this season, and I'm sure we'd all like to have just mowed everyone down and have a 20 game lead, etc. but I think there's something to be said for struggling a little. Pedro + Offense + the Bullpen NOT blowing it = Win. Hooray! Ah finally, everything is back where it should be... now THIS feels like September. But I confess, even with how awesome Castillo is (and he IS awesome) I kind of miss Valentin, and probably a bit more right now because that's his brother catching for the Reds.
