We barely knew who you were or where you came from when you first showed up at Shea last year, but by the time of your sudden and untimely departure from the Mets, we had fallen completely in love with you, super-hot, 6'2," 205 lb. Xavier Nady.  Your offense was brilliant, and you were surely instrumental in helping the Mets to the NL East Championship.  Clinching the division was thrilling but still somewhat empty without you there to share it with us.  :sigh:  Your name and picture are on one of my NY Mets NL East 2006 Champs t-shirts (the kind-of cheesy one I bought in the parking lot after the clincher game), which is cool, but we'll never stop missing you, super-hot X-Man (although I'll admit that having super-hot Shawn Green in your place is a comfort to a degree...).

I'm glad you're doing well with the Pirates, will always miss you, and still enjoy hearing of your prowess at bat and in the field.  In light of your contributions to the Mets in 2006, and for being super-hot whatever team you're playing for, you are hereby named the Blue Skies and Baseball MVAP for this Week.  Congratulations, super-hot Xavier Nady!  :makes x sign with arms: :bats eyelashes:
