6 pitchers got up for each team, and lots of offense... exciting!  I had a really good feeling about this game, so tried extra really hard to score the game and get it all down properly... (dorky) fun!  Even with the big changes that took place in the third, I think I did a real nice job and am all happy with myself and my game-scoring over here.  :crickets:

So he gets us on the board first with an RBI (!!) and then just pitches a nice, solid game into the 6th, what a guy.  The only Met without a base hit was Alou, who was intentionally walked twice, otherwise we can all assume he's have had one, too.  Hellooo offense, so glad you decided to stay a while!

Kerry Wood getting his 1300th strikeout was real nice, too.  He seems like a good guy and boy those fans sure do love him.  Welcome back guy, and good luck Cubbies; you'll have to work a bit harder now without Soriano, but Wood looks good (in more ways than one, rowr) and you're still in the game, so to speak.  Side-note: I really, really have to pay a visit to Wrigley Field, asap, that is one beautiful-looking ball park.

I am feeling awfully good about our team right now, and am extremely revved up for the coming series against the Braves.  Got me a ticket for tomorrow night, even, woohooo!

Go get 'em, Glavine, gotta' love it when the good guy wins.
