Conversely, I mistakenly turned on the Yankee game after the Mets game, only to have my ears assaulted by that horrible, awful excuse for a broadcast. I literally had a physical reaction to how wretched it was and had to turn it off almost immediately.  How do those people live like that???  I suspect it's a ploy to force everyone into buying YES subscriptions. :shiver:  No wonder the Yankee 'fans' are all so miserable even when they're winning...

Nevertheless, I was happy to hear that their rookie can pitch so well, and suspect that when he returns he'll be a force for batters to reckon with.  The Yankee 'fans' are all out of sorts (my nice way of saying "completely freaked out") at his being injured, but 4-6 weeks will go by quickly and hopefully he'll be more careful next time, right rookie?  Great team; worst... fans... ever.  Of course the team will make a wicked comeback, there will be much rejoicing, and the Yankee 'fans' will lose even more of my respect because of it all (if such a thing is still possible, that is).
