What rivalry? Every year I go to a subway series game at Shea, and a subway series game at Yankee, and all that I see going on is good-natured fun and baseball.

On one hand, I think interleague play is pointless, but the subway series is so much fun, and so valuable as a chance for fans of both teams to get together and goof on each other, that I have no choice but to advocate interleague play as a whole.

Losing the series was a bummer (added to the list of recent bummers) but still I say these are just bumps in the road.

Ps. The Boston/NY AL rivalry is no joke, however. I can't even count the number of fistfights I've seen at those games! Now THAT'S a rivalry!
