I don't think I'll have time to go into the game too much, but just wanted to mention that I was thrilled to see Delgado get his bat going last night.  I was significantly less thrilled to see him miss what should have been an easy play at first, tho I guess he sort of made up for it by actually making some plays later on.  When I heard him referred to in the Yankee broadcast as  the "aging, slumping Carlos Delgado," It got me pretty riled up, so this was at least a start to the upswing that I so hope he'll achieve asap.

And then... what was that I saw... someone running really fast to field a ball in right field!  Wowee, can it be Shawn Green actually breaking a sweat??  Oh, I see, it's Carlos Gomez, well that explains it then.  Carlos Gomes is so much fun to watch, very exciting young player, and that whole kissisng the bat thing.. awww... and I still do feel pretty confident about Green's offense, but as I've said, he and Delgado are my only worries in the field and I am reallly hoping they'll step it up out there.

Let's go Mets!
