The Cardinals seem to be playing relatively well in spite of how decimated they are by injury.  Even with this being the case, I am thrilled -- hear that?  THRILLED -- to have beaten them in every game so far this season.  On a slightly-to-the-side note, I'm yet further irritated by the insistence of the sports media to make everything sound so dismal.  In the reports I heard today on ESPN I could have sworn that they were talking about a game that we'd lost.  Close game, extra innings, we won; it's okay to be happy about this and focus on what's going right, you know.  Hrmph.

Way to go on the home run, Carlos Gomez!  Let's go Mets!

NY Media, you guys leave a lot to be desired, and please note that this is a big understatement, for if I were not a lady, I'd have used much stronger language and bean really, REALLY insulting.  But I am, so you're getting off easy.  You're welcome.

In other news, I had some friends of mine tooling on me for my love of doing The Wave at ball games, saying that they don't like it and it doesn't belong in Big League Ball.  What??  Hey, you guys, the games are supposed to be fun, and by the way, are largely for the KIDS, you remember, the kids?  Sheesh, y'all reallly need to lighten up!
