I wanna sing songs in the car on the drive down there, and I want a program to keep score in, and some cotton candy, and at least a couple of beers, and I wanna see the house where Babe Ruth was born (now a museum), and I wanna walk around on Eutaw Street, and I wanna see the flag court with the flags for each AL team in order of position in the standings (even though they're all sissies and their pitchers don't hit), and I wanna make goo-goo eyes at hottie-former-Met Chad Bradford in the bull pen, and I wanna use my single-eye binoculars thingy to stare at A-Rod's incredible posterior (sorry guys, but this must be noted, it is one of the greatest phenomena of modern-day baseball hotness, I tell you), and I want him to hit his 500th homer right to me so I can catch it in my glove that I'm bringing,** and I wanna walk around and stand somewhere and watch the game, just because I can... and, and, I wanna listen to the game on the Orioles flagship station, WHFS 105.7 FM, and... and... I wanna... I wanna... [unintelligible rambling of road trip excitedness]!!@!$LolzzOMG!!!1!
People are asking who I'm going to root for and, frankly, I just don't know. I like the Yankees a little, but I also like the Orioles a little, and they are the home team, etc. I just don't know which way I'm going to go on this. I think I may try to root for both of 'em, so I guess we'll see how that goes...
... no, wait, on second thought, yeah, I guess I will have to root for the Yankees, unfortunately. They're the New York team in this game, and that is obviously where my support must go. :sigh: Well, it is what it is, I guess... Maybe I just won't root for anyone. Hmmm...
[Update: I've thought it over a bit more, and I think I should wear a Mets shirt to this game so as to properly represent my team and our far superior National League. Man, I am such a badass... watch out Baltimore, here I come!]
