Wow, great game! Oh, the suspense! The twists and turns... it was like a Herculean Epic!
John Maine wasn't at his best, but he held on alright, and with the offense firing on several cylinders at once (I don't actually know what this means, but I used it right, right? Sounds right, I'm leaving it in.), we were able to pull off the win.
Carlos Beltran sure is hitting and fielding great with that new bionic leg and arm he's got. The wonders of modern technology, I tell you...
Thank you so much for joining us Luis Castillo, please make yourself comfortable. Can I get you a sandwich? Perhaps a refreshing beverage?
Game scoring update: I am still having all kinds of fun with this. I've taken to writing everyone's season average, homerun and RBI totals, plus whether they hit left, right or switch, next to their names. My brother was astounded with the info I was able to bring up while we talked for a bit on the phone during the game. I know, I know, I'm fancy, right? Yeah, that's right, hehe. I've been going with the method outlined in the Mets program booklets, and so far it is the easiest and most efficient that I've seen, but am going to try some of the others, just for comparison and to see if there are any elements that I might want to add to my little method. Suspense! Well, not really, I just felt like saying that again.
More cold and soggy baseball tonight, woohoo! I would go to the game anyway, but I have to work on my media empire some more tonight. Going Friday, tho...
Way to go, Team! Let's Go Mets! Woohooo! Metsmetsmets!
