Humber was fine last night (standing o and everything), all things considered, and the offense was sure there, but oof, our bullpen...  I liked that one inning from El Duque well enough (walks and all), but the only good news for me from the bullpen (oof... ) is that if Wagner gave it up last night, which he did, then he probably won't tonight.

Two homers for Beltran, and Alou extends his streak with an RBI single AND a homer!  Hooray for offense!  Cover your eyes for the bullpen!  =)=(

However:

Tim Kurkjian, ESPN baseball analyst (among others), still favors the Mets to take the division, and the Padres to take the wildcard. Call me crazy, but I'll take his opinion over any of the NY media hacks, bloggers or other various loudmouthed, know-nothing yahoos around here.

Pedro (3-0) tonight, and me, of course, wheeeee!

Because I'm with a TEAM, see? And either you're WITH your team, or you're not. Period. I believe they can do it, and that's that. Loyalty, people, loyalty to, and unwavering support of, my team.  Anything less and you might as well be a Yankee fan.

Yep, I said it.

Let's go Mets!
