Great post. On that topic, last season one of the papers ran in its gossip section some rumors invovling Paul Lo Duca and various issues with his wife. In response, Lo Duca and some of the other Mets simply stopped doing post game comments for that paper. Which is a big move, since he is generally one of the players who provides the most postgame comments, esp in regards to whoever was pitching. To the best of my knowledge after that the NY papers havent' really been printing about the personal lives of the mets, except for the occasional baby annoucement or charity related piece.
