I love that story... tell it again, tell it again!! I remember seeing the cover story and dreading what I'd assumed would be weeks of trashy tabloid coverage, but (now that you mention it, i see that) it just kind of went away pretty quickly. What a wise and effective reaction on the part of the Mets, as usual the organization behaves like a class act and gets things done.
